We have come to the conclusion that the Pave bird brooch in our previous post is a Period Copy of the Boucher piece.. Boucher would be unlikely to use a poor plating which would craze like that AND Boucher would be unlikely to use an inexpensive Pave setting for a piece like that. Thanks to […]

Boucher Gryphon Griffin Bird Pave Rhinestone Brooch
Published Date: February 25th, 2008Category: Who Made It?, What is this?, Designer
Boucher Experts.. Opinions PLEASE..
Did Boucher make the Gryphon in an unsigned plain rhinestone version, or did they all have enamel detailing? What do you think. There is a faint place on back of head where PERHAPS.. The item was stamped BEFORE it was plated.. I really could not get a photo of it. I think for […]

Here is a wonderful find. (I got a great estate last week). These tremblers a beautiful. They are in fastastic shape. If they are from a duette, there is no frame. They do have a Coro Utility patent number on them. So we are very confident this is a Coro set. Does anyone recognize the […]
1960s Mesh Rhinestone Necklace - Unusual Construction
Published Date: October 1st, 2007Category: Unique Items, Who Made It?, What is this?, 60s Fashion
Any opinions on this? Great piece, it is saying 1960s to me, please tell me if I am wrong. The back of the piece shows some very unusual construction. Has anyone ever seen it before? Strange back setting.. Repousse setting with a back plate with a repousse dimple set in a bezel.. Any name for […]
We recently acquired this totally awesome pin. It is such a beauty with excellent construction. It is rare to see such a unusual piece. The glass is set on wires welded onto the main base. The molded glass stones on the outside are particularly neat because of their unusual rocky shape. I adore the combination […]

Recently we came upon some interesting signed pieces. Unfortunatly we could not recognize these signatures and wish to know more about them. If you know anything about any of these designers please do tell us!
This piece is signed by Beto. It is a mexican sterling set from Taxco. Not many peices from Taxco are signed […]
Below is a great example of a Schreiner hook and eye brooch. If you look at the closeup, you can see the way the pin is held together. This is a typical Schreiner design. We also have a few examples of what we think to be Austrian brooches with the same hook and eye construction.

We recently acquired a few pieces that we believe may be Miriam Haskell, however, they are unsigned. If anyone has any ideas as to who may have designed these pieces, leave us a comment! We have numbered the pictures to make it easy for you to comment on them.
1. We think this piece below is most likely […]
