Recently we came upon some interesting signed pieces. Unfortunatly we could not recognize these signatures and wish to know more about them. If you know anything about any of these designers please do tell us!

This piece is signed by Beto. It is a mexican sterling set from Taxco. Not many peices from Taxco are signed by a full name, usually pieces are signed with an inital. Reserch on other sites indicated that not much is known about Beto but his peices usually run high and are highly collectible. This piece is interesting in the fact that there is a wood inlay, which I had never seen in a Mexican silver piece before. It is also interesting to note the Greek key design of the peice which is not very common for Mexico. Check out this and other Mexican sterling here.

This is a trendy piece signed S.A.L. we found in a vintage estate lot. I loved the look of the chunky gold chain in contrast to the sparkling faux crystal pendant. We do know that Swarovski  signed some of his peices with S.A.L. however it is very doubtful that this piece is real crystal. You can buy this piece here.

This is my favorite piece of the three. This one is signed GMFW and has a hand worked artisan feel to it. I love malachite beads inside the handworked sterling pods. It’s like haveing two peas in a pod hanging from your ears! Definitely an adorable piece. You can bid on this piece here and look other sterling earrings here.

If you know anything about these designers please e-mail us! We’d love to know anything about them!
