# 1: If possible, purchase a photo cube or light tent. This cube will help concentrate your lighting in one area so you will not get other light sources effecting the color of your object. Depending on the type of items you tend to photograph, you can purchase a large or small cube. See the picture below that I found on http://www.tabletopstudio.com/ It is a great example of a tent you can use for your items.
