Photo Technique #4 - Editing Pictures

After you take a picture, the image often changes color once uploaded to your computer. The images may have a greenish cast or may be slightly dark. To edit, crop and fix some of these picture, you need a good photo program. We highly suggest Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Photoshop Elements. These programs are a great investment! They have great tools to help you fix colors, lighten and darken images, and crop pictures. There are many different types of photo programs out there, but we use Photoshop here at AJ Raefields to do our editing. We have found it to work very well. Not only is photoshop a great editing tool, but it also has many other artistic functions aside from editing tools. There are amazing photo effects, transparencies…etc, which are great for creating ads for your store. If you decide to invest in this program, take time to learn as much as you can about it. The more you know, the more amazing and creative things you can do with it! Promote your store by making your images and graphics appealing, eye catching, and creative! Most of all, have fun!
