I just love these Trifari flower brooches which feature molded glass rimmed in gold tone. I had always though these were  1940s-50s creations. I have been placing them there because of the Crown Trifari Mark found on them as well as the kind of Gold Wash look to the Gold Plating of that era.

So, imagine my amazement when I found this one the other day! A nice big pin, with a bit more detail then the earlier ones in a later gold plating style.

Then I turned it over… And saw…On the back.. This textured background and mark! Now I am thinking they made these lovely molded glass pieces for quite some time. The textured back and lighter more even gold tone is saying late 1960s early 1970s to me. Any Trifari experts have any ideas for me?

What do you think? What time period did this type of design span?
